Renault Scenic

The Renault Scenic was the first European car in its class: a five-seater based on the chassis of a hatchback (the Megane which was released a year earlier). But by the roof still had the look and feel of an MPV, and the chairs easy to take out the car a lot of space. The Scenic had to combine the advantages of an MPV with the agility and safety of a larger model. In late 1996 the car was under the former name Megane Scenic Named Car of the Year 1997. The third generation is also referred to as Scenic III. A modified version (Scenic III ph2) was marketed in 2012.
