Renault Nepta
The Renault Nepta was presented as a concept car at the Mondial de l’Automobile 2006. This 4995 mm long, 1956 mm wide and 1332 mm high Cabriolet is designed to provide an outlook on the future design of Renault. Designed and built the vehicle from Renault chief designer Patrick le Quément.
The headlights on the Nepta work with LED technology and come with active cornering lights. The Nepta has 3.76 m long double doors that open and close by pressing a button by an electric motor. The spacious interior there are four individual seats. In the backrests of the front seats flat screens also are installed with which DVD movies can be viewed.
In the design study V6 twin-turbo petrol engine comes with 3.5 liter displacement and an output of 309 kW (420hp). The maximum torque of 560 Nm is reached at 3,000 rpm. The 7-speed automatic transmission of Nepta accelerates in 4.9 seconds from 0 to 100km/h The consumption lies at about 9.4 liters per 100km. (222 g of CO2 perkm)
