Renault 4CV
Renault 4CV – a car produced by the French automaker Renault in the years 1946-1961. Was available as a 4-door sedan. Used to drive the motor with a capacity of 0.7 R4 l Power was transferred to the rear axle. The car is equipped with a 3-speed manual gearbox.
It was a cheap car for everyone, inspired by the "Beetle" Volkswagen, the first model in France, has sold more than one million copies.
In 1947, the Paris Motor Show presented a prototype developed during the war Renault 4CV – four-door limousine with a rear engine (capacity 747 cm ³) and three-speed transmission. This vehicle was popular (until 1961 produced as many as 1 105 000 copies). The first Renault 4CV left the assembly line on August 12. Pierre Lefaucheux wanted to give this car one of these three names: Régine, Reginette or Régiquatre, but the workers of the factory called it 4CV.
