The Nissan GT-R is a sports car created by the Japanese automaker Nissan, released in Japan on December 6, 2007, in the United States on July 7, 2008, and the rest of the world in March 2009.

Between 1969 and 1974, and again between 1989 and 2002, Nissan produced a high performance version of Nissan Skyline range called the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Nissan introduced the GT-R SpecV on January 7, 2009 at the Tokyo Motor Show. Exterior changes based on the GT-R were: a rear spoiler, grille and brake ducts carbon fiber with a unique painting "Ultimate Black Opal". Interior changes include a new Recaro leather seats and lighter carbon fiber and the removal of the rear seats.
