Racer

The Maserati 6CM (1939-1940) was an Italian car racer Maserati. The chassis is derived from the Maserati 4CM and the suspension is derived from the Maserati V8RI. The engine was a six-cylinder with a capacity of 1493.2cc. The ability of the first version was 155hp, the second version had a bigger engine and had an output of 175hp. The car was suspended by leaf springs.

The car was used in Formula 1. Most riders who participated in this car were private drivers. There were three teams that used it: Scuderia Ambrosiana, Ecurie Helvetica and the Maserati factory team. Various races were won with such as the Grand Prix of Naples and three times the endurance race Targa Florio.
