Lotus 24
The Lotus 24 was a Formula 1 car designed by Team Lotus for the 1962 Formula 1 season. Having designed the Lotus 25 monocoque chassis to use for testing team, Colin Chapman decided to build the rear with a more conventional design with which he could sell to the teams and private teams. The 24 was a completely different design from its predecessor, the 21, and used much of the suspension 25. Both motor Coventry-Climax FWMV as the BRM P56 were mounted in the car.
