Fiat Seicento
Fiat Seicento (since 2005 Fiat 600) – five (Seicento) or four-(600) city car with a 3-door hatchback body type produced in Tychy by the Italian company Fiat in the years 1998-2010. Was introduced to the market in 1998 as a successor to the Cinquecento. With predecessor drew the most technical solutions. Initially, the vehicle was available in three trim levels: S, SX and Sporting. The basic variant S was equipped with m.in: unpainted bumpers and mirrors, steel wheels. Since 1998 Fiat Seicento offer electric version – it had a name Elettra. It was a continuation of urban vehicles with alternative drive Fiat (Panda Elettra the models and the Cinquecento Elettra). The car gained popularity in Car Polish Championships – played the Cup series race Seicento.
In December 2005, the editors of the magazine "CAR Magazine" published the results of a test version of the Seicento S 1.1 MPI. Measured acceleration time 0-100km/h equal to 15.71 seconds, top speed obtained from the average of best two runs was 151km/h. Fuel consumption at a constant speed of 100km/h was a test of 5.71 l/100km.
During road tests criticized too small trunk and passenger space in the rear. The plus points were included vehicle maneuverability and fuel-efficient engines.
Seicento repeatedly checked the reliability of the inspection report. The vehicle could be driven by one of two petrol engines R4, both were known Cinquecento model. The smaller unit with a capacity of 899cc OHV type of timing-driven chain is equipped with single-point fuel injection. Fiat Seicento worked on version powered by hydrogen. Served as a base for the electric version, Elettra. In February 2001, presented a prototype of Elettra H2 fuel cell.
