The Fiat 1800 is an automobile manufacturer Fiat published in 1959 with self-supporting body in the then modern trapezoid shape as a four-door notchback sedan and five-door station wagon (familiars). The basic shape of the body was at the same time used for the six-cylinder model Fiat 2100. The 2100 was a corresponding increase in displacement in the fall of 1961 the Fiat 2300.

The model 1800 had a six-cylinder in-line engine with 1795cc and a power output of 75hp/55 kW, a 4-speed manual transmission with column shift and powered rear wheels. Based on the 1800 there was a – primarily remembered as a taxi – version, in which the four-cylinder engine of the Fiat was used in 1500. To distinguish from 1300/1500 used the term Fiat 1500 L (lungo = long). The factory internal names denominated 112 for the Fiat 1800 Fiat 114 for the 2100 and 2300 and 115 for the Fiat 1500-L.

The end of 1968 the production was stopped, with exports to Germany was completed in the summer of 1965.

The models were also produced in Spain as Seat 1400, 1500, 1800D and 2000D Seat. The last two were equipped with Mercedes diesel engines and also as taxis popular.

In total, about 185,000 copies of the series were produced. A direct successor did not exist, but the Fiat 125, especially the 125 S can be regarded as an indirect successor.
