The Ferrari SP12 EC is a version built by Ferrari single piece for the British musician Eric Clapton. In May 2012, it was announced that the SP12 EC has a 458-Italia chassis and resembles the design of the Ferrari 512 BB. Constructed was the SP12 EC within Ferraris "One-Off" program of the Centro Stile in Maranello in collaboration with Pininfarina., were used components, which are also used in the Ferrari 458 Italia, in particular a 4.5 -liter V8 petrol engine and a dual-clutch gearbox; some details of the construction of the single piece, however, remained secret.
