Ferrari 575M Superamerica
The Ferrari Superamerica is an original roadster produced in limited edition (559 copies) based on the Ferrari 575M Maranello. Heir of the 550 Barchetta, this version features a unique electrochromic glass roof, whose opening is effected by rotation about an axis rotates 180 Â°.
Last born of the family Ferrari Maranello, whose production has stopped, it was also created to resurrect Mind Superamerica models specific to large displacement originally designed for the North American market.
The 575M Superamerica est une innovative convertible version of the 575M Maranello. The Superamerica s Thus appears as the world’s fastest convertible with a top speed of 320km/h. Like its progenitor, the Superamerica uses a six-speed manual gearbox. F1 box robotic control is an option, as well as the GTC Handling package which offers the latest technology manufacturer, including carbon-ceramic brakes and a firmer suspension.
Produced in a limited series, such as 550 Barchetta before it, the Ferrari 575 M Superamerica was built only 559 copies.
The car has a new and ingenious roof system patented by Leonardo Fioravanti. It is a glass roof, retractable, which after being unlocked manually rotates 180 Â° on itself between the amounts of the custos and alights on the trunk lid where it is secured with two rams. Developed by Saint-Gobain, the glass electrochromic characteristics that allow to vary the brightness by five degrees, controlled from the dashboard.
