Ferrari 250 GTO
Ferrari 250 GTO – a sports car produced by the Italian company Ferrari in small series in the 60s of the twentieth century. Recognized as one of the most famous models of the company and is currently the most expensive model of this brand. Produced in the years 1962-1964, and became famous in many races, where the main competitor was the Aston Martin DB4 GTZ. The first generation was 250 GTO features three air intakes on the hood between the headlights, just above the cooler. But often it obscures what you see in the picture below. Made them (according to various sources) 33 or 36 copies. Auto features a 12-cylinder engine with a capacity of 3 liters, which was obtained power over 300hp, which, as at the beginning of the 60s was impressive value (for comparison, the Porsche 911 of 1964 possessed the power of about 130hp, and it was considered a sports car niezÅ‚ych of performance). High performance car owed not only the engine but also novel, in those days, aerodynamic bodywork.

Ferrari 250 GTO produced in 1964 had three inlets instead of the two sides, and a new mask, on which three large air inlets characteristic replaced by one. Made well (at least one) model with no inlets on the hood. Another notable difference is the position of the exhaust pipes, which in 1964 mounted on the sides of the car at the height of the door. The price of the car is estimated at 9 500 000 €.
