The Dodge EPIC was a concept car Chrysler 1992 EPIC. Stood for Electric Power Interurban Commuter or electric powered shuttle vehicle. The car was shown at the North American International Auto Show. The EPIC was a hybrid car with a four-cylinder engine and an electric nickel-iron batteries. The futuristic for that time oval body style was the inspiration for the later third generation of the Chrysler Voyager. The EPIC was also one of the earliest hybrids.
