Chevrolet Lacetti
The Chevrolet Cruze is a passenger car of the C segment as the U.S. manufacturer General Motors has unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2008. It is on sale in South Korea under the Daewoo Lacetti label and other markets from the second quarter of 2009 under the Chevrolet and Holden brands. It replaces the Chevrolet Cobalt as Chevrolet Optrad already present in the U.S. and Korean market for several years.
Launched only four-door version, she had to wait the Salon de Paris in 2010 to find a variation of five doors, more in line with the tastes of Western Europe. The Chevrolet Cruze has the privilege of inaugurating the Delta 2, which was the basis for the new generation Opel Astra and Zafira and the new Chevrolet Orlando and Chevrolet Volt models platform.
The petrol engines are, for the moment, atmospheric: a 1.6 liter 113hp and a 1.8 liter 141hp. In diesel engines are inline four-cylinder 2-liter 125 and 150hp, with variable geometry turbocharger and common rail direct injection. Two new diesels are proposed: one 2-liter 163hp and a 1.7 liter 131hp.
