Chevrolet Impala
Chevrolet Impala – with 1996 luxury car produced by General Motors owned company Chevrolet. Impala was again put into production in 2000 as przednionapÄ™dowy midsize car. Ed Cole, chief technician Chevrolet in the late 50s described the model as "a prestige car within the average American citizen."
In the years 1958-1965 Impala was the most expensive luxury vehicle from Chevrolet. In 1965, Chevrolet introduced a new model Caprice which was even more expensive.
In the late ’60s Impala was in the family of luxury cars Chevrolet Caprice only lower, lower than the place were more economical cars like the Biscayne or Bel Air. The main competitors of Chevrolet Impala were: Ford Galaxie and Plymouth Fury.
Impala was one of the most successful cars from General Motors in the early years of production sold best in its segment.
