Seat Arosa
Seat Arosa â € "three-door, four-seater city car with a body type hatchback produced in 1997-2004.
Seat Arosa (6H designation) was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1997. In mid-May of the same year, started its production at the Volkswagen plant in Wolfsburg. A year later, in the same factory started production of the twin model – the Volkswagen Lupo. Once you make it to the sale, the number of people opting for Arosa drastically decreased. Both cars have exactly the same design, but Lupo presented more modern styling, both interior and masks (outside differed front) and a better quality finish.
Group of the target audience of this model was to be young people and people traveling on congested European cities.
The design was based on the floorpan marked "A00", a shortened version of "A03" (used to build the Volkswagen Polo and Seat Ibiza).
This model was available with three petrol engines – 1.0 8V 50hp, 1.4 8V 60hp, 1.4 16V 100hp and two diesel – 1.7 SDI, 1.4TDI. All of these engines were characterized by low fuel consumption.
Facelift model was conducted in 2000 (marking 6HS). Due to low sales been abandoned in 2004.
