Renault Laguna
Renault Laguna – family car brand Renault produced since 1994. Today, the third generation is produced vehicle.
Renault Laguna I was presented at the beginning of 1994 as the successor to the Renault 21 liftback. At the end of 1995, introduced an estate version called the Laguna Sport Tourer, which replaced the 21-year-old construction Renault Savanna/Nevada.
Throughout the period of the production level of standard equipment increased. Most of the models were fitted as standard include power steering, electric front windows, driver’s airbag, central locking with remote control. Optionally, the vehicle can be equipped with, among others, passenger airbag, ABS, automatic climate control (Climatronic), electrically heated windscreen, pyrotechnic belt tensioners, immobilizer, electric mirrors, sunroof, and the front seat, CD player and on-board computer "gadaczka", indicating any failure in the car, and telling oversights on the part of the driver, eg for closed door.
At the beginning of 1998, the car passed facelift. Slightly changed front and rear lights and a few other odds and ends. Two new petrol engines: 1.6 16V and 1.8 16V, and one new turbodiesel 1.9 dTi. Withdrawn 1.8 8V engine and naturally aspirated version of the 2.2 liter diesel. Also changed the automatic transmission, introducing a new "proactive", produced in collaboration with PSA Peugeot Citroën.
In 2000, he presented the final version of the Renault Laguna Millenium with rich furnishings, including the póÅ‚skórzanymi seats.
The richest version of the equipment Lagoon, introduced in 1997, was Initiale Paris. In the version before the facelift performed with engines 2.0 8V with automatic transmission, 3.0 V6 24V (manual transmission or automatic). The equipment included, among others, leather upholstery, different colors of the interior, wood-like elements of the cockpit (Climatronic panel flap on the radio, door handles), painted in body color side moldings. Lagoon after a facelift, this version of the equipment, were fitted with engines: 1.8 16V, 2.0 8V with automatic transmission, 3.0 V6 24V (manual transmission or automatic) or 2.2 dT (diesel power 113HP). Facilities include enriched of color navigation – Carminat 6000 – mounted in the center console. Version Initiale Paris was not a limited version, and was not offered on the Polish market.
Renault Laguna II was introduced in 2001 as a completely new model divides the floorboard of the Nissan Primera. Auto also has features in common with the Renault Vel Satis. Engines have been upgraded and the equipment list was longer. There are three petrol engines: 1.6 16V, 1.8 16V, 2.0 16V (turbo version with or without turbo). Provided also two diesel engines: 1.9 and 2.2 with direct injection. Characteristic for Renault Laguna II was the system "Keyless". The car opened up, was closing, and launch the engine is not the key, but the card. An extension of the "keyless" system was "handsfree", which opens or closes the car and start the engine only required the presence of the card near the car. In a plebiscite on the European Car of the Year 2002 model took second position (for Peugeot 307).

After 4 years of production in April 2005, it was decided to modernize the Laguna II. Were changed appearance of the vehicle, especially the front part of the body, introducing new styling front belt with a new shape headlights and bonnet. Significant changes relate to technical solutions. Major changes can also be seen in the interior. Items are better folded, made of materials of high quality – velor fabric upholstery replaced soft microfibre fabrics. Major changes included rozdzielczÄ….Laguna board can be equipped with modern navigation Carminat.
For modernized Laguna II introduced a wide range of engines. Five gasoline and three diesel. New is marked 2.0T petrol engine developing an output of 205hp, designed for the GT. With the exception of 3-liter 6-cylinder jew, others have 4 cylinders in rzędowo.Pod end of 2005, 2.2 dCi engine replaced with a new engine 2.0 dCi 150hp created in collaboration with Nissan. In 2006, the range of diesel engines increased 2.0 dCi engine power of 175HP, which is the most powerful in the diesel engine range Lagoon. In 2007, production was completed Laguna II and placed on the market already the third generation of this model.
Versions 1.9 dCi 68kW and 79 kW are available only in certain markets.
As unstable are determined turbo diesel units (acetabulum). In conjunction with the recommended until 2006 oil change interval equal to 30 thousand.km was possible premature failure of the drive system.
Renault Laguna III was presented at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt in 2007. For the Polish salons hit on October 19 of that year. Fair in Frankfurt also showcased Laguna Coupé Concept. In Geneva in 2008, presented Laguna GT occurs in two versions: liftback and station wagon (GrandTour).
