Proton Wira
Proton Wira – car sedan or liftback produced from 1993 to December 2008 by the Malaysian company Proton.
In 1993, Proton unveiled its second model – compact wire. The model was developed under license from the Japanese Mitsubishi Lancer V generation from the years 1991 to 1995. Wira was established as a newer alternative to the model of Saga. Palette body is a sedan, liftback called Wira Aeroback, a small coupe produced between 1995 – 2000 under the name of Putra and a small pickup in production since 2000 as the Proton Arena. Sales are now conducted only in Malaysia as the Wira and the Middle East as Persona. This model could be purchased in the UK and in Germany as a Proton 400 Initially, the successor was to be a model Waja, but Proton has decided to successor Swirls was less original model. In 2004 he presented a successor variety Aeroback – Proton Gen-2, and in 2007 presented the successor to the sedan – Proton Persona. Despite this series Waja remains on sale until May of this year.
