Nissan Pathfinder
Nissan Pathfinder – a car belonging to the SUV (I generation – compact SUV, II and III – medium size) produced by the Japanese automaker Nissan since 1986. Gabarytowo ranks in the manufacturer’s model range between the Murano and Armada and Patrol, and priced between Xterra Murano. Was introduced as a successor to the Bushmaster and a competitor to the Toyota 4Runner.
The first generation was produced in 1986-1995. Under the name of Pathfinder model was exclusively distributed in North America, in Europe, was known as the Nissan Terrano. The car performed in 2 – and 4-door body styles. Power could be transmitted to the rear axle or both axles. To drive serve gasoline engines R4 (2.4 l) and V6 (3.0 l) and diesel engine R4 2.7 (naturally aspirated and turbocharged like). They can be combined with a 3 – or 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual gearbox.
The second generation appeared on the market in 1996. Was characterized more rounded shapes of the body. The third generation is produced since 2005. Was based on the floorpan Nissan F-Platform. To drive units used gasoline V6 and V8 4.0 and 5.6 R4 diesel V6 2.5 and 3.0. The torque was transferred to the driven axis through 5-speed automatic (from 2011 also 7-speed automatic) or 6-speed manual gearbox.
