Mitsubishi Aspire
Mitsubishi Galant is a car manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors since 1969.
The name comes from the French word galant, which means "knight". Until that time, nine-generation model, including sold about five million copies. Initially, the Galant was available as a compact sedan, later was transformed into a model of the upper middle class. For 25 years the car was assembled only in Japan, in 1994, started production in Diamond-Star Motors (DSM), located in Normal (Illinois).
Aug. 30, 2012, in an American factory Mitsubishi Galant rolled off the last copy. Mitsubishi has no immediate plans successor.
