Maserati Spyder (2.5)
The Maserati Coupe is a coupe GT car produced by Italian automaker Maserati from 2002 to 2007.
This model closely derived from the Maserati 3200 GT with minor modifications to be approved for marketing in the United States, as the taillights. It inherits the mechanics of the Maserati Spyder.
The Maserati Spyder is derived from the Coupé version with a manoeuvrable roof electrically by a pushbutton on the center console. The opening and storage time is about 30 seconds. The Spyder version different from that of the Coupé dimensions: wheelbase of 2440 mm or less 220 mm, total length 4300 mm, width 1820 mm, height 1310 mm and its curb weight of 1720 kilograms.
In 2005, Maserati has a modified version of the "V8 Gransport", developed in the wind tunnel with a engine power was increased by 10hp without changing the engine.
Gransport will be launched in the Geneva Motor Show 2004. It has the 4.2 V8 engine developing 400hp Coupé. Compared to the "Off" it has some aesthetic and mechanical changes.
Outside, there is a larger chrome honeycomb grille, new similar to racing cars rims, new exhaust and the color palette has been expanded. Mechanically, there is modification of the sixth report of the robotised gearbox, the "Cambiocorsa" available only lying to better exploit the engine torque. The maximum speed of Gransport now reached 290km/h.
Over the years, special versions are added to the range, as the "90th Anniversary" to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of the brand Trident, and "Contemporary Classic", available only in red, presented at the Bologna Motorshow in December 2006.
