Hyundai XG
Hyundai XG is a high-end model of the South Korean Hyundai Motor Company.
XG produced in 1998-2005 on shared plates and floor-units of Kia Opirus (Amanti in North America). Version 3.0 of the engine was marked XG30, while the version with the engine 3.5 XG35. The model with a 2.5 liter engine for sale in some countries (including Poland). South Korean limousine could boast a host of facilities, available at the time only in high-end models such as the Mercedes E-Class BMW 5 Series and XG30 is longer and wider than most of its competitors.
XG (Grandeur) had to exist primarily for the U.S. market. In Europe, the car made its debut in 1998, during the exhibition Geneva, while competition for, among others. Toyota Camry, Nissan Maxima or Volvo S80. The largest offered in Poland limousines Korean manufacturer. The comfortable interior in the style of American limousines finished with precious materials. Three forked V6, depending on the volume, cooperate with the 4 – or 5 – step automatic transmission. In both machines using sequential shifting mechanism (known as Shiftronic). Standard equipment included, among others, TCS traction control system, a complete set of audio (210 watt system with six speakers Infinity), leather upholstery, full electrics (electric windows, electrically adjustable seats), heated front seats, cruise control, or even dusk sensor. Prices in Poland began with 139 000 PLN with 2.5 liter engine.
