Hyundai Matrix – car produced from 2001 to 2010 by the company Hyundai. Name the car is inspired by the cult film, the Wachowski brothers, but more significant is that this vehicle, styled by Pininfarina, designed for Europe. Auto was established on the basis of the compact Elantra. In Poland, the car performed with two petrol engines – 1.6-liter with 103hp and the 1.8 power of 123hp. The Matrix series was equipped with, among others: front airbags, ABS, electric windows front and rear, and a heated rear window. Auto over two facelift – first in 2005, and the second three years later.
In Poland, the car has not led to commercial success as its competitors.
In 2010, he was presented the successor – twin model Kii Vengi, or ix20, and the production was introduced in 2011.
