Ford Evos
The Ford Evos is a vehicle of the car manufacturer Ford, which was presented at the International Motor Show 2011, but will not go into production. It will rather provide an outlook for the future Ford design, in particular to the next generation model of the Ford Mondeo. Developed this model in Vercarmodel Saro in Orbassano.
This vehicle is a four-door, four-seat coupe that of J Mays as a further development of the Kinetic Design was designed. The vehicle has as before the study Ford Iosis on opposite hinged gullwing doors and no B-pillar. The plug-in hybrid is powered either by petrol or an electric motor, the energy is stored in a process developed by Ford lithium-ion battery. When the drive is not a study, it was taken over by going into series 2013 Ford C-MAX Energi. The petrol engine is only used when the speed of 75km/h is exceeded for electric operation, or stored power for the electric motor is running low. The total length of the sufficient drive concept is over 800 kilometers.
