Chevrolet Lacetti – class compact car manufactured since 2003 by GM Daewoo. At the start of production (2003/2004) in the vehicle was sold as the Daewoo Lacetti (sedan) and Daewoo Nubira (sedan and wagon), but due to the bankruptcy of the manufacturer and the establishment of the company from General Motors in most countries of the world began to offer these cars in other many names and brands in Europe, for example, the model performed under the name Chevrolet Lacetti.

Since 2005, the European Lacetti/Nubira sedan is used in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). In the spring of the same year, Chevrolet introduced adapted to the normal traffic concept car Lacetii/Nubira WTCC R + based on the racing version. It is equipped with 1.8-liter engine known from standard models, but with power increased to 172hp thanks to the turbocharger.

In India, there are three derivatives produced Lacetti – sedan Optra, SRV hatchback and (from 2007) Optra Magnum – sedan with modified bodywork, and a 2.0-liter diesel engine. They are designed for local and Pakistani market.

Used in Optrze and SRV 1.6-liter engine also drives the vehicle called Formula Rolon. It is used for racing series like Formula 1
