Chevrolet Nova – car produced in the United States in the years 1962 – 1979 Chevrolet owned by General Motors as well as in the years 1985 – 1988 by NUMMI, a company between General Motors and Toyota. Initially, the car was a top model in the family compact Chevy II, was sold under the name Chevrolet Chevy II Nova until the Chevy II name was abandoned in 1969. Later under the name Nova przednionapÄ™dowy subcompact car sold based on the Japanese Toyota Sprinter. The vehicle was sold in Canada as the Pontiac Acadian.
It is known urban legend about the Chevrolet Novy, which would explain why the car sold poorly in the Spanish-speaking markets. No va literally translated into English means "no go" as well as "it does not go." (Do not go). This myth has been refuted.
