Chevrolet Blazer
Chevrolet TrailBlazer – mid-size SUV produced in 2002-2009 by belonging to General Motors’ Chevrolet brand. In 2002, the car won the title of North American Truck of the Year.
In 1999-2001, the name of the TrailBlazer wore a luxury version of the Chevrolet Blazer. In 2002, he was named as the new SUV, which is based on the floorpan GMT 360 and its variants – GMT 370 (versions 7-passenger) and GMT305 (twin GMC Envoy XUV). Production of the "old" Blazer lasted until 2005, and at the end of its duration dealers offered only 3-door version, 5-door was available only in fleet sales.
TrailBlazer took first place in the North American Truck of the Year in 2002. 4.2-liter engine LL8 R6 was also an award-winning in 2002-2004 for his technical solutions (such as systems and VVT DOHC).

Both of these constructions are entirely made of aluminum. That line, six-cylinder engine makes the TrailBlazer the most powerful six-cylinder SUV in its class. This vehicle can also tow a trailer weighing up to 3085kg, which currently dominates the popular crossovers.
In 2005, sold 244 150 copies, making TrailBlazer took first place in terms of sales in the class of medium-sized SUV in the U.S. market, dethroning the current leader of Ford Explorer. Outside North America, the car was sold in South America and Asia and some European markets.
In 2002-2006, the range was available Chevy Trailblazer extended version – TrailBlazer EXT. Its characteristic is the presence of a third row of seats, allowing you to transport seven people. The next generation TrailBlazer was to be built on the upgraded version of the current GMT360 floor plate, called the GMT361. It was planned to introduce this version in the spring of 2007, but in January 2006, General Motors announced that this platform will be only slightly refreshed and named GMT360NG. In June 2006, however, and the project was rejected. Finally, the production of this model was completed in 2009, in connection with the completion of production activities the plant in Moraine, Ohio.
