Chevrolet Beauville
The name Chevrolet Beauville used Chevrolet for two vehicles. First, he referred to 1955-1957 a combination of model series Bel Air and Two-Ten.
From 1970 to 1995, a minibus that name based on the van was made, which was offered as a GMC Vandura Rally.
1955 led a five-door Chevrolet Beauville combo in the series Bel Air. The standard engine was a six-cylinder inline engine in conjunction with a manual gearbox. On request, there was also a V8 engine.
From this vehicle 24,313 pieces were produced. The six-cylinder had a base price of U.S. $ 2262, – the V8 cost U.S. $ 2361, -.
1956, the Beauville was offered as a Chevrolet Two-Ten and a Chevrolet Bel Air, each with nine seats.
The prices of the 210-Beauville stood at U.S. $ 2348, – (R6) and U.S. $ 2447, – (V8), the Bel Air Beauville at U.S. $ 2482, – (R6) and U.S. $ 2,581, – (V8). This year 17 988 210 Beauvilles and 13,279 Bel Air Beauvilles were sold.
Chevrolet station wagon had to engines to offer a great choice, the (103 kW) ranged from six cylinder 140hp unit to a V8 with 225hp (165 kW).
One belonging to the basic machine in 1956 was a six-cylinder with 3,859 cm3, a Gruagußblock and a compression of 8.0:1. He had a single Rochester Carburetors and reached a peak output of 140hp (103 kW) at 4,200 min-1. Also on offer was a V8 with 4,343 cm3 displacement, a dual carburetors and a peak output of 162hp (119 kW) at 4,400 rpm-1.
In 1956 there were two 4.3-liter V8 engine with a compression of 9,25:1, quad carburetors and two exhaust pipes. The Turbo-Fire 225 had two Carter four-barrel carburetor and made 225hp (165 kW) at 5,200 min-1, while the Turbo-Fire 205 had a single four-barrel carburetor and a power output of 205hp (151 kW) at 4,600 min-1 developed.
The Beauville 1957, there were no more than Bel Air, but just as Two-Ten.
21 803 copies of the nine-seater were made and it cost U.S. $ 2563, – (R6), or U.S. $ 2663, – (V8).
In 1957, the Beauville Two-Ten one-line six-cylinder engine with 3859 cm3 and 140hp (103 kW), a V-8 engine with 4343 cm3, 162hp (119 kW) and some V8 engines with 4,638 cm3 and a maximum of 283hp (208 kW) (Super-Turbo-Fire 283) offered. The Super Turbo-Fire 283 had fuel injection and cost $ 550, – surcharge.
The Chevrolet Beauville Sportvan the G-series was a large van, the Chevrolet 1970-1995 offered. Since the amendment at the tail end of the 1960s there was little change in G-Series Van, and mostly concerned the interior.
The 1995 Chevrolet G20 Beauville Sportvan was delivered as standard with a 4.3 liter V6 engine, a compression ratio of 9:1, overhead valves and two valves per cylinder had. There is disagreement about the proper emphasis on the word Beauville. Most believe that this "Boo-Will" is, with stress on the second syllable, but the word in the American is also spoken with emphasis on the first syllable.
The production of the G-series – and thus also of Beauville – was set in 1995. Successor is the Chevrolet Express.
