Bentley Continental S
The Bentley Continental R uses the mechanics of the sedan from which it derives, but with the passage of time, there have been several refinements of mechanics:
The Continental S is a more powerful version of the Continental R, produced in a limited series, only 18 specimens from October 1994 to September 1995. Motor boosted to 408hp at 4100 rev/min and 821 N · m of torque, maximum speed 255km/h.
As it has done for other models, in addition to the standard Bentley has also produced the most exclusive Mulliner set up as well as some special series, always with the most powerful engine from 426hp:
The Continental T was produced from March 1996 until December 2003. Differs from the Continental R for the shorter wheelbase of 100 mm and 180 mm wider than the body, in addition to the more powerful engine. The engine delivers 426hp at 4000 rev/min, 875 N · m of torque. Maximum speed 270km/h and acceleration from 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds.
From November 1998 until December 2003 was also produced with the staging Mulliner.
The Continental SC Sedanca is the version number plate (open body with the pavilions and the rear wiper) fixed the Continental T. It was produced from November 1998 to October 2000, also in Mulliner. The standard version had the engine from 407hp and 800 N · m, whereas the Mulliner had the engine from 426hp and 875 N · m. Maximum speed 245km/h and acceleration from 0-100km/h in 6.4 (6.2 version Mulliner) seconds.
