Austin A110 Sheerline
The Sheerline was dall’Austin a luxury passenger car produced from 1947 to 1954 in two series, which were identified by different names, A110 and A125 Sheerline Sheerline.
The Sheerline was designed during the Second World War, but his production began to conflict that ended in 1947 after the Austin and fulfilled the contracts relating to the supply of arms. The series were two, and stood out from the engine installed. First, the A110 Sheerline was in production until 1947, while the second, the A125 Sheerline, was marketed from 1947 to 1954.
The model was luxurious, and had features that could be found also on contemporary vehicles produced by Rolls-Royce and Bentley. Compared to the latter, however, the Sheerline was placed on the market at a lower price, equal to about two-thirds that of a Rolls-Royce equivalent. This price was still more than five or six times that of a small Austin. In total, there were produced approximately 11,617 copies, and consequently the model is quite rare today.
In 1954 production ceased, and the category of luxury was represented dall’A135 Austin Princess Mk II, which was in business from 1947 to 1956.

With this update, the motor model name was changed to the A125. The latter were produced 11,605 specimens.
The front suspension was a coil springs, while the rear ones were formed by semi-elliptic leaf spring. Initially, the A125 was only available in sedan, but the 1950 version was also offered a rare limousine. Later versions were added to the ambulance and hearse.
