Toyota SG
SG Formula – French racing team based in La Rochelle, the department of Charente-Maritime. It was founded in 2004 by Frenchman Stéphane Guerin. Currently, the team starts only in Formula Renault WEC, but in the past has also appeared at the start of the Formula 3 Euro Series, Formula Renault 3.5, Formula Renault and the French in the European Cup Formula Renault 2.0.
Under the leadership of Stéphane Guerin in 2004 debuted in Formula Renault. In his first race in Nogaro, the team won the first pole position and first victory.
In 2005, Romain Grosjean racer in the SG was the champion of the French Formula Renault.
In 2007, Jules Bianchi won the French Formula Renault championship, and Jon Lancaster Formula Renault Eurocup runner.
The next season expanded activities in the Formula 3 Euro Series. In the same year, Jean Eric Vergny is a master of the French Formula Renault, and Daniel Ricciardo was the winner in the Formula Renault West European Cup.
Toyota established a program for young drivers, which supported drivers SG Andrea Caldarelliego and Henkiego Waldschmidt, and Jean Karl Vergny since 2008 has been a member of the Red Bull Junior Team.
In 2009, the band took the Grand Prix in Monaco in the World Series by Renault, with the help of Russian KMP Group. For this purpose, purchased the equipment of the Belgian team KTR. In 2009, SG Formula entered into a collaboration with KMP Racing and remain on the start list as KMP Group/SG Formula.
