• Toyota 4Runner

The Toyota 4Runner is a sport utility vehicle manufactured by Toyota midsize and sold worldwide since 1984 to present. In Japan it is known as the Toyota Hilux Surf. The original 4Runner was a compact SUV and little more than a Hilux pickup truck equipped with a rear seat and fiberglass roof, but the model has undergone significant independent development into a cross between one of compact and midsize SUV (Segment D). All 4Runners have been built at Toyota’s plant in Tahara, or on the ground of Hino Motors in Hamura, both in Japan. Some opponents of the 4Runner is the SUV Mitsubishi Montero Sport and the Nissan Pathfinder.

The third version was sold only in 4-door shares a platform with the Hilux/Tacoma/Land Cruiser Prado 90 was designed to compete with the Nissan Pathfinder, Nissan Xterra, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ford Explorer, Mercury Mountaineer, Mitsubishi Challenger/Montero Sport/Native/Pajero Sport, Chevrolet Blazer/TrailBlazer, Isuzu Rodeo/Wizzard, Honda Passport, GMC Jimmy/Envoy, Dodge Durango, Chevrolet Rodeo. A redesign was done in late 1999. Was traded in L4 gasoline, Gasoline and Diesel, and V6, 4×2 and 4×4, manual and automatic. In North America in 4×2 and 4×4, manual and automatic, 2.7 L4 and V6 gasoline. Bolivia only 4×4 petrol and diesel, manual and automatic.
