Suzuki Forenza
The Chevrolet Nubira was a car model of the Korean automaker GM Daewoo. As Daewoo Nubira came in third generation on the market, it was renamed in late 2004 and provided with a revised grille and the adjusted brand logo, as from that date, General Motors marketed all European Daewoo vehicles under the name Chevrolet. In China, the vehicle is also still marketed in 2012 as Buick Excelle and is one of the most successful models the market.
The car initially offered only as a saloon replaced the Daewoo Nubira; 2004 was followed by the corresponding cluster model. In the model range of Chevrolet Europe, the Nubira occupied as representatives of the lower middle class, the gap between the based on the same soil group Lacetti compact cars and mid-size sedans Daewoo Evanda/Chevrolet Epica.
The Nubira celebrated at the Seoul Motor Show 2002 its world premiere. In Korea, the new model as the Daewoo Lacetti was followed immediately sale. Since early 2004, designed by Pininfarina car was also available in Germany. At the Geneva Motor Show 2004, the estate version was presented and was four months later at the dealership. As the Lacetti Nubira disposal of some European components and has been in terms of the chassis and the Driving behavior also tuned in England.
Since its introduction in September 2004 some minor changes were made:
The door handles were replaced with the introduction of the Nubira station wagon through "bracket-handles". The petrol engines comply with the requirements of the Euro 4 standard (first Euro 3 standard). Inside the sedan, the wood applications have been replaced by aluminum. The Nubira station wagon and the Lacetti received an identical dashboard. Only the dashboard of the saloon differed slightly.
In September 2006, the Nubira sedan was taken off the market in Germany due to low demand.
The Nubira estate was taken in late 2010 due to missing Euro 5 standard from the program.

The name Nubira is Korean and in translation means "go around the world"; what is intended to indicate the long-term qualities of the cars. On the world market, there are other synonyms, but they all go back to the Chevrolet Nubira:

Chevrolet offered as one of the few manufacturers in the Nubira from the factory with an LPG system on. The gas tank with a capacity of 53 liters (previously 60 liters) LPG (Liquefied Propane Gas) has been installed in place of the spare wheel in the appropriate tray. The range of the vehicle is enhanced by up to 450km.
As of 2005, committed with the Chevrolet Nubira in the World Touring Car Championship, in which the limousine was however used under the name Lacetti. The vehicle is constructed according to the rules of the Super 2000. The first race win was retracted at Brands Hatch in 2006. The final work using the Lacetti ended in 2008 with a victory in Macau. The Nubira reached 14 wins, 38 podiums, eight pole positions and 9 fastest laps. Since 2009, the Chevrolet Cruze as successor in use. From private teams the Nubira is still used in several touring car racing series in which, according to the regulations of the Super 2000 is being driven. Bamboo Engineering came in 2010 with two Nubira in the World Touring Car Championship and changed over the course of the 2011 season also to the new model Chevrolet Cruze.
