• Renault 21

The Renault 21 – R21 short – is a manufacturer Renault cars. This was built by the spring of 1986 until the end of 1994 (Nevada by the end of 1995) and is a car of the middle class.

The R21 is available in three different body types:

Notchback, hatchback and station wagon.

First, the R21 was only available as a notchback sedan from March 1986. Combined the version was taken in October 1986 under the designation "Nevada" on the market. In September 1989, still appeared, in addition to the facelift of the series, a hatchback variant.

The R21 was available in different versions, and this affected both the engine power and the equipment.

Renault 21 Nevada (1989–1995)

The hatchback was replaced in early 1994 by the Renault Laguna, while the notchback version was discontinued in late 1994 without replacement. After the end of production of the combination was renamed Renault in Nevada and still continued to be built until the end of 1995.

The Renault 21 has a remarkable body structure. The car only weighs about 1050kg, and nonetheless reached 1987, the then U.S. crash standards. The Renault 21 was sold in the U.S. by Chrysler as the Eagle Medallion.
