Toyota Platz (export version – Toyota Echo) – subcompact car produced by the Japanese company Toyota in 1999-2005. It was created as a successor to the Tercel and Paseo models. The design was basically a twin of the first generation Yaris model. Platz available only as a 2-door coupe and four-door sedan. Used to drive a gasoline engine R4 1.5 liter that generates 110hp. The drive was transferred to the front axle via a 5-speed speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The car was replaced by the model Belta.
