• Toyota Caldina

Toyota Caldina – car produced by Toyota. Put into production for the Japanese market in 1992. It replaced the model Carina Surf. Caldina has never been officially exported by Toyota outside of Japan. Car thanks to the good performance off-road and drive AWD became popular in Australia, New Zealand, Russia and many South American countries.

The original Toyota Caldina was the 5-door station wagon. Introduced to the market was a van version (1992-2002) and 4-door sedan called the corona. Wagon has an independent suspension.

AWD models are coded and are offered as Active Sports GT with the engine. GT-T models were turbocharged 260hp. Model GT-T also occurred with the possibility of electronic stability control (VSC). Caldina GT-T offers similar performance at Subaru WRX and achieves acceleration of 0-100km/h in 7 seconds. The car underwent a facelift in 2000, which had new bumpers and lamps, the interior of the car was better equipped than a facelift.

Brand-new Caldina was released in September 2002 model Caldina Engines are 1.8 liter, 2.0 liter or 2.0 liter turbo. All models have automatic transmission and electronic handbrake.

Caldina GT-4 is also widely available imported cars in Malaysia.

Production of the third-generation model Caldina was completed in 2007.
