Renault 8 (Renault R8 until 1964) and Renault 10 – compact cars produced by the French company Renault in the 60s and 70s. Production of the R8 was launched in 1962, R10 (better-equipped version of the R8) and in 1965, production and sales of both models was completed in France in 1971. Production on the territory of Bulgaria was completed a year earlier, in Spain in 1976. In Romania 8 was produced under license as the Dacia 1100 years 1968-1971.

Also this year presented an even stronger version 8 Gordini R1134. It had a modified engine of the same capacity growing power of 90 hp. It uses the five-speed manual gearbox with close ratios. Gordini was available only in blue, glued with two white stripes.
