Proton Gen-2
Proton Gen-2 – hatchback car produced since 2004 by the Malaysian company Proton.
In Serdang Motor Show in 2003 presented a new compact model of Proton – Gen-2 model. This is the first Proton model of his own design. The model was developed in collaboration with English producer of sports cars – the Lotus. Gen-2 is a successor to the Wira hatchback version. Sales of the compact Proton is conducted outside Malaysia and the Far East and in Europe: the UK, Ireland and Cyprus. The model is also imported by private company in Germany.
In 2008, the sedan model presents a variation of the Gen-2 – Persona model. Sales are conducted in Malaysia, Australia, Western Europe and the Middle East.
