The Nissan Tiida (Japanese for "continuous change of the tide") is a passenger car model in the compact class, which is produced by the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan since the fall of 2004. In North America it is called a Nissan Versa, in Malaysia and Indonesia as Nissan Latio.

In Mexico, the Tiida under the U.S. brand Dodge at Nissan’s plant in Cuernavaca Civac was mounted under the name Dodge Trazo. In South America, however, the Trazo presented in parallel is its own car brand and was also as in Mexico only in 2008 and 2009 available. Under the brand Trazo the Tiida was called Trazo C and was only available as a sedan in a 1.8-liter version. The Trazo brand has now been abandoned.

The launch of the Tiida took place in September 2004 in Japan, in China in 2005 and in North America it was introduced in late 2006 as part of the Detroit Motor Show. In the fall of 2007, he debuted in many European countries and was eventually offered from the end of January 2008 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The Tiida replaced on the European market, the Almera and Primera models and was placed in the model range between touch and Qashqai. As a classic car world it is produced at several locations in Japan, China, Mexico, Thailand and Taiwan and exported to up to 165 countries.

The first generation is based on the Group, but as I came to use the Nissan Note in an extended version with a larger wheelbase used together with Renault B platform. The Nissan Tiida C11 has been used successfully in the Chinese touring car racing. The road cars, based on which the racing cars were built, ran in Dongfeng plant in Guangzhou from the tape, the Nissan vehicles manufactured under license. Two Tiida C11 drove in China from 2006 in the 1600cc class of the China Circuit Championship (CCC).
