Maserati A6G54
The Maserati A6 G 54 was the first supercar from Maserati. It 60 pieces with different body structures manufacturers were built. With him, Maserati was evenly matched to a Ferrari sports car manufacturer.
The A6 G 54 is a front longitudinally mounted six-cylinder in-line engine with 1986cc (bore x stroke = 76.5 mm x 72.0 mm) driven to write 150hp (110 kW). The engine power is transmitted via a four-speed manual gearbox and a propeller shaft to the rear wheels. The car reaches a top speed of 190km/h

The acronym stood for A6G54 1954 A6G. He was the first Maserati with two overhead camshafts and the first one was clearly over 160km/h. Apart from the wider rim suspension was the same as in A6G, the motor derived from the six-cylinder engine but the Maserati A6GCM from the formula 2. He was the only series-Maserati in the years 1954-1957 and was replaced by the more modern 3500GT. 60 units were produced in total, whose open and closed bodies were built exclusively from manufacturers such as Allemano, Zagato and Frua.
